Community Guidelines
The standards that keep Mass communities, feedback boards, and reviews helpful, safe, and respectful.
Effective date: June 15, 2026
These Community Guidelines apply whenever you post or interact in shared spaces on Mass — including communities, feedback boards, comments, and marketplace reviews (the "Community Spaces"). They supplement our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
By participating, you agree to follow these guidelines. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate them.
1.Be Respectful
Treat others with respect. Disagree with ideas, not people. Personal attacks, harassment, threats, hate speech, and content that demeans people based on protected characteristics are not allowed.
2.Prohibited Content
Do not post content that is:
- Illegal, or that promotes violence, self-harm, or extremism;
- Sexually explicit, or that exploits or endangers minors;
- Harassing, hateful, defamatory, or that reveals others’ private information (doxxing);
- Deceptive, fraudulent, or designed to scam other members;
- Malware, phishing, or links intended to harm or mislead.
3.No Spam or Excessive Self-Promotion
Keep contributions relevant. Do not post repetitive content, mass-promote unrelated products or links, or use Community Spaces primarily to advertise. Helpful, on-topic sharing is welcome; spam is not.
4.Respect Intellectual Property
Only post content you created or have the right to share. Do not upload material that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or other rights. Copyright concerns are handled under our Copyright & DMCA Policy.
5.Be Authentic
Do not impersonate others, misrepresent your affiliation, operate fake or duplicate accounts, or manipulate votes, ratings, or rankings. Reviews should reflect genuine experience.
6.Moderation and Enforcement
We may, in our discretion, edit or remove content, hide threads, and warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines. We may act immediately and without notice for severe or repeated violations.
7.Reporting
If you see content that violates these guidelines, report it using the in-product tools where available or contact support@mass.new.
