Acceptable Use Policy

The rules for using Mass responsibly — what you may not do with the Services, our AI, and our messaging tools.

Effective date: June 15, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") governs your use of the Mass websites, applications, AI features, APIs, and messaging tools (the "Services"). It is part of, and incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service.

You are responsible for your own use of the Services and for the use by anyone you allow to access them, including your team members and, where you are an agency or reseller, your end customers.

1.Prohibited Content

You may not create, upload, store, send, or distribute content that:

  • Is illegal, infringes intellectual-property or privacy rights, or misappropriates trade secrets;
  • Sexually exploits or endangers minors, or is non-consensual intimate imagery;
  • Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or incites violence or self-harm;
  • Is fraudulent, deceptive, or facilitates phishing, pyramid schemes, or fake reviews;
  • Contains malware, ransomware, or code designed to disrupt or gain unauthorized access;
  • Harasses, defames, or unlawfully discriminates against any person or group.

2.Prohibited Conduct

  • Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Services without our written permission;
  • Circumventing authentication, rate limits, usage quotas, or access controls;
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or scraping the Services except as permitted by law;
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or providing the Services to third parties except through our official agency/white-label program;
  • Interfering with or placing undue load on our infrastructure, or attempting a denial-of-service;
  • Using the Services to build a competing product or to train a competing model.

3.Acceptable Use of AI

Mass generates AI Output from your inputs. You are responsible for reviewing Output before relying on or publishing it. You may not use our AI features to:

  • Generate content prohibited above, or that violates a model provider’s usage policies;
  • Create deepfakes, impersonate a real person or brand, or misrepresent AI-generated content as human-created where disclosure is legally required;
  • Produce deceptive, manipulative, or deceptively automated communications;
  • Make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without appropriate human review;
  • Provide regulated professional advice (legal, medical, financial) as if it were from a licensed professional.

4.Email, SMS, and Messaging

When you use Mass to send email, SMS, or other messages, you must comply with all applicable anti-spam and telecommunications laws, including the CAN-SPAM Act, TCPA, CASL, and carrier requirements such as A2P 10DLC registration.

  • Send only to recipients who have given the legally required consent to be contacted;
  • Honor opt-out and unsubscribe requests promptly, and never message a suppressed recipient;
  • Include accurate sender identification and a valid physical postal address where required;
  • Do not send unsolicited bulk messages, purchased lists, or messages with deceptive headers or subject lines;
  • Maintain proof of consent and provide it to us on request.

We may throttle, suspend, or terminate messaging that generates excessive spam complaints, bounces, or carrier violations.

5.Fair Use of Resources

Compute, storage, AI Credits, and messaging volume are provided for normal use of the Services. Automated, abusive, or disproportionate consumption — including crypto mining, mass automated account creation, or Credit farming — is prohibited. We may apply reasonable technical limits to protect the Services.

6.Third-Party Services and Integrations

When you connect third-party tools or send data through integrations, you must comply with those providers’ terms and only share data you are authorized to share. You are responsible for the credentials and permissions you grant.

7.Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and, in our discretion, remove or disable content, throttle or suspend features, suspend or terminate Accounts, and report unlawful activity to authorities. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice; for severe or ongoing violations we may act immediately without notice.

8.Reporting Abuse

To report content or conduct that violates this AUP, contact us at support@mass.new with enough detail for us to investigate.
